Dr. Dorothy C. Tata is a family medicine physician experienced in treating chronic health conditions including diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol and asthma, and is trained to diagnose and treat patients with multiple diseases and health concerns.

Dr. Tata provides preventive services for all ages including well-child care; school, work and camp physical exams, immunizations for children and adults; geriatric medicine and a full range of women’s health care services, including annual, gynecological and breast exams.

She also treats minor fractures, sutures cuts, performs punch biopsies and treats common dermatologic conditions.

Dr. Tata’s preventive medicine approach focuses on life-style changes including weight-loss, smoking cessation and chronic disease management. She also treats anxiety, depression, bulimia, substance abuse and personality disorders.

A graduate of the Medical University of the Americas, Nevis, West Indies, Dr. Tata completed her residency in family medicine at Florida Hospital, Orlando.
